Mahalos again to Beau T. for telling me about another winnah grinds. For one ono pupu plate that goes good with an ice cold beer and a bowl of hot rice, check out the pan-fried pork chops with sauteed onions at Kanpai Bar & Grill. Nice tasty golden brown crust on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. Tastes pure and simple. Maybe only salt, pepper, flour dredge, but I not sure. Onions are browned just right so it's small kine sweet. Get choke onions so you can get some onions with each piece of pork chop. It's slightly different from Side Street Inn's famous pork chops, but just as ono...maybe slightly better? Maybe a one on one pork chops battle is in the works.
