Best Pork Hash - Final Results and Rankings Print E-mail

The Pork Hash Passion (a.k.a. The Passion of the Hash) took place on September 20, 2008...the same day as the Manapua Madness.  Seven grand master pork hashers faced off in a WOW Grinds Blind Taste Test. In the end, a clear winner emerged. She was unstoppable. Nobody could touch her. As Sean would say, "she had action!" And then, one judge gave this winning pork hash the elusive perfect 10.  Click "read more" to see the results table.

Two great tastes that taste great together
Nate (69.26.32.xxx) 2008-10-29 01:47:26

Now could you put together both scores from the char siu bao and the pork hash and come up with the single best manapua store?
good idea
ilikegrind 2008-10-29 02:07:12

Thanks for the great idea Nate. We're already working on compiling the scores from both battles to find the best manapua shop. The only one that we can't do is Royal Kitchen b/c they don't do steamed manapua, so we only tasted their pork hash. It's looking like Libby might be the best.
Questionable results
temujin (67.133.152.xxx) 2008-10-29 11:36:37

Someone gave 7-11 an 8.0? Better than everyone but Aiea Manapua? I don't think so.
